The maps can be created by teaching staff, but a better option is to search the Web for free materials for schools. A good starting point is to download the core maps for the updated 2001 National Curriculum (Key Stages 2 and 3). These are available direct from the Ordnance Survey website. Go to 'education', then 'teaching resources', then 'QCA mapping'. These maps are produced in colour A4 format. As with all of the maps in your 'bank', it is worth building the bank around A3, A4 and A5 formats.
